Do you sometimes wonder where the Motivation went? I know I do. there are days that I wake up and say "I am going to work out" then the next day when I get up I think to myself "I really don't feel like working out today" and I don't and on those days that I don't work out I don't feel that great. So, I did some research on the internet on weight loss and motivation and this is what I find.
I came across www.101weightloss.com and here are some ideas that they have.
1. Never forget the purpose you are losing weight for. If your losing weight to look attractive, say it out loud every morning "I'm going to lose weight and look attractive", If you are losing weight to be healthy then say "I'm losing weight to be healthy"
2. Take a picture of yourself while you are overweight. Keep this picture with you at all times. Whenever you feel like eating fattening food, ask yourself "Do I want to be like this forever?" if you have already lost some weight, ask yourself " Do I want to look like this again?"
I loved this two tips from this site and I find there tips very helpful. I am going to start working on the first one today.
Weekly Weight in: 277
I have lost a total of: 13 ( counted wrong it was not 14 pounds that I lost)
This last week my sister and I raced each other to see who could work out all week. my sister informed me if I win then I get to take a nice long hot bath in her bathtub, and if she wins then I would be cooking four meals this next week. the verdict is in and "we tied", so now I get a bath and to cook four meals, which actually I love to cook.
So, What Motivates you to work out and be healthy?

Seriously, you! I know we've never met but I got to your blog from your sister's and I was so inspired by your courage and honesty in your blog. Knowing I'm not alone in any struggle makes it easier! Congrats on 14 pounds - that's impressive!!!
