2.You may prefer to have very large throws and afghans professionally dry cleaned.
3. To store afghans not in use, never enclose them in a plastic bag, as the fibers will not be able to breathe and the static cling created by polythene will attract dust and dirt.
4. Instead, wrap in a clean cotton pillowcase or sheet, depending on size.
5. Store in a dry, cool, dust free place, adding a bag of dried lavender to keep the crochet smelling sweet and to deter moths.
