Sometimes I just steal away.
A moment alone, for myself, To crochet.
How precious….
Away from the phone’s incessant Ringing,
the dishes in the sink,
The laundry piled high.
Those things can wait for now,
But the yearning to hold a hook and yarn cannot.
So I pull a Project out quickly, knowing There is only a minute,
but I Relish it, treasure each second
And every stitch I complete, Finally feeling fulfilled.
