Bobble Stripes





I find this Pattern in 200 crochet blocks for blankets, throws, and afghans by: Jan Eaton

I really like this book it has lots of different blocks and they are lots of fun. I highly recommand if you don't have this book apart of your collection then you need to add it.

Special abbrevaition:

MB = make bobble (work 4 open dc in same st leaving 5 loops on hook, draw yarn through all 5 loops at once)

Foundation chain: Using Yarn A. ch 28
Foundation row: (wrong side) Working first sc into 2nd ch from hook, work 1 sc into each ch, turn. (27 sc)
Row 1: ch 1, 1 sc into each sc, turn
Row 2 & 3: repeat row 1. break off yarn.
Row 4: Join yarn B, ch 1, 1 sc into next sc, *MB, 1sc into each of next 5 sc: repeat from * three times, MB, 1 sc, into next sc, turn. break off yarn B
Row 5: Join yarn A and repeat row 1
Row 6 to 9: Repeat row 1. Break off yarn A
Row 10: Join yarn C, ch 1, 1 sc into next sc, *MB, 1sc into next sc, turn. break off yarn C
Row 11: Join Yarn A and repeat row 1
Row 12 to 15: Repeat row 1. break off yarn A
Row 16: Join yarn D, ch 1, 1 sc into next sc, *MB, 1 sc into each of next 5 sc; repeat from * three times, MB, 1 sc into next sc, turn. Break off yarn D
Row 17:Join yarn A and repeat row 1
Row 18 to 21: Repeat row 1. Break off yarn A
Row 22: Join yarn E, ch 1, 1 sc into next sc, *MB, 1 sc into each of next 5 sc; repeat from * three times, MB, 1 sc into next sc,turn. Break off yarn E
Row 23: Join yarn A and repeat row 1
Row 24 to 27: repeat row 1. Break off yarn A
Row 28: Join yarn F, ch 1, 1 sc into next sc, *MB, 1 sc into each of next 5 sc; repeat from * three times, MB, 1 sc, turn. Break off yarn F
Row 29: Join yarn A and repeat row 1
Row 30 to 32: Repeat row 1
Fasten off yarn.
