Tricolor Square block

I find this Block in 200 Crochet blocks for blankets, throws, and afghans by Jan Eaton. I really like this book, I get majority of my blocks from this book.

This block is a little bit more difficult. I find that if you have lots of patience you can do this block. I am not an expert on crocheting and only have been crocheting for two years now

I really like this tri-color square! I'm going to try it using red, soft-white, and black (my oldest daughter's favorite colors are red and black, very distinguised, huh?) - another daughter's favorite colors are pink, and youngest daughter likes blues.

I'm thinking this would be pretty in shades of all those~ OH! And I see a picture here for "Diamond in a Square" you have posted - that looks reallllly neat!!!

Thank you for posting some great patterns - I'll be busy on this one for a bit~
